Mrs. Norma Sorlie

Hixton - Funeral services for Mrs. Norma Sorlie, 77, were held at the Jensen Funeral Home here Thursday. The Rev. Calvin Carey officiated, and burial was in Trinity Rest Cemetery.

Mrs. Sorlie died at the home of a daughter in Denver, Monday. She was born in the North Branch section of Jackson County on June 13, 1891 and was a telephone operator at Merrillan, Alma Center, and Hixton.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Alice Murray, Denver; Mrs. Minnie Pantos, Tooele, Utah; and Mrs. Muriel Jacobson, Milwaukee; one son, Donald Hanson, Villa Park, Ill.; three brothers, Walter Rhead, Muskego; Hugh Rhead, Millston; and Robert Rhead, Dayton, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
