Jewett Ancestors

All of the information listed below was found on Ancestry.com. Most of it is documented, but not all. In particular, I have problems with Generation No. 8, Jeremiah Jewett. The 1820 census doesn't quite fit what is listed for Jeremiah's family. I took a leap of faith that my Eunice Jewett is Jeremiah's daughter, as some have claimed, but I haven't seen any absolute proof that she is, just circumstantial. Does anyone have a more complete record for Jeremiah Jewett?

Both NELSON and MARY are buried in the Madison Cemetery in Buchanan County, Iowa.

Notes for NELSON "ADMIRAL" JEWETT
NELSON "ADMIRAL" JEWETT, was given the nickname "Admiral" because his father was a great admirer of Admiral Nelson. The Jewett family moved to Westfield, New York and then to Buffalo Grove, Buchanan County, Iowa. Family memory credits Nelson Jewett as being the first postmaster in Buffalo Grove. There seems to be some debate about that since the post office was in a room of Abaither Richardson's house when the town was platted and he was the postmaster from then on.
