Hamilton Ancestors

On the 1790 census for Bedford, Westchester County, New York, Mercer Hamilton is shown living with one female and one male under 16 years of age. Could this female and young male be Mercer's daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hamilton, and her son, John Hamilton Gregory? Mary Elizabeth Hamilton was married to John Gregory and they divorced around 1789/1790. She then married Isaac Wright. I've wondered where Mary could have been living during (and immediately after) her divorce and it's possible she was living with her father. Mercer's other two daughters were living with their husbands so it couldn't have been them and Mercer's wife, Elizabeth, died in 1787 so it seems plausible that it was Mary who was living with him.
